Privacy Policy

CupidPout (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the CupidPout mobile app handles information when you use it.

Photos and camera

The app may request access to your camera so you can take a photo, and permission to add an edited result to your photo library. Photos you select or create are used to provide the editing features on your device.

Face data: on-device analysis, use, sharing, storage, and retention

What we process. When you select or take a photo and use the editing feature, CupidPout processes the facial-landmark coordinates detected in that photo. These coordinates describe the locations and contours of facial features needed to position the philtrum and lip editing effects. CupidPout does not request, create, or retain a Face ID template, facial-recognition identifier, biometric identifier, or a profile that identifies you.

Purpose and use. Facial-landmark coordinates are used only to generate the requested on-device preview and edited image. They are not used for authentication, identification, advertising, tracking, analytics, profiling, training, or any purpose unrelated to the requested edit.

Sharing and transmission. Face data and the selected photo are not uploaded, transmitted, sold, rented, disclosed, or otherwise shared with us, our servers, Google, MediaPipe, Apple, advertising providers, or any other third party. The app uses Apple's Vision framework and an on-device MediaPipe face-landmark model packaged with the app; both perform this processing locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores or lets us view photos or face data.

Storage, retention, and deletion. CupidPout does not create a separate persistent copy of the original photo or face data. Photo and facial-landmark information used for an edit exist only in volatile working memory while the editing feature needs them and are discarded when the edit is replaced, the editor is closed, or the app ends. They are not written to the app's storage, backups, logs, or databases. An edited result is saved to your Apple Photos library only when you explicitly choose to save it; the saved result is controlled by you and can be deleted at any time in the Apple Photos app. We have no copy to retain or delete.

Advertising

The free version of CupidPout may show ads provided by Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners. These providers may process device and online identifiers, approximate location, and information about ad interactions to deliver, measure, and improve advertising, subject to your choices and their policies.

Where required, the app presents a consent flow and offers an in-app privacy-options entry so you can review or change advertising choices. You can also manage relevant permissions and advertising settings through your device settings.

Purchases

If you choose to buy CupidPout Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.

Information stored on your device

The app stores settings and usage information locally on your device, such as language, appearance preferences, and available free-edit usage. This information is used to make the app work and is not sent to us by the app.

Children

CupidPout is not directed to children under the age at which they can consent to data processing in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
